style mama | blanqi
If you haven't heard of BLANQI yet, then you can thank me for this later.
Before I was a mom I always saw these moms out with their kids and being the snob I am, I always cringed when I saw their underwear lines. For some reason underwear lines on moms were always worse because their bodies, during pregnancy, had been through some trauma and they always had that squishy look to them. Well, insert 7 years, and now I get it. You just don't have time to care for yourself the way you want. I was totally getting "the mom butt" where your underwear lines slice your booty into halves. Trust me, you know what I am talking about. It ain't pretty. Even Rowan would tell me I had a squishy butt, and thankfully I have a sense of humor to laugh it off, but dang my pride was wounded. So, it was time to get some support and tuck it all in. I love that BLANQI makes stylish support wear and these moto ones were screaming my name - I think they are screaming Kate Moss' name too, but I haven't had the chance to tell her yet. Anyway, I opted for the high waistband so I could get that whole Dita Von Teese effect. Nailed it. Or not. But whatever. I feel all tucked in and stylish at the same time, and that is something to brag about. I at least looked good enough that my mom wants a pair, so cheers to tucking it in and rocking that mama body in total style! Check out BLANQI and I promise it will be worth it, they are totally comfortable and breathable!
