holiday spirit | bring it on

We are sons and daughters is one of my all time favorite places to shop for accessories for the boys -- you may have seen some of my posts on Instagram with Wrennyn sporting their specs here because that little kid is obsessed with his accessories and there is no match when it comes to kids sunglasses, we are sons and daughters are hands down killing it. The kids don't leave the house without them and nothing like an 8 year old boy thinking he is a teenager once he has his on. I love the cool aesthetic of their brand and it makes a strong statement when you are out and people acknowledge your kids style, plus it always helps when your kids' coolness can take the focus off your unwashed mom hair :) We are ready to rock this holiday season and look our best at all of our holiday activities!

These days we have been making our rounds to every tree farm in the area and taking in all the free smells. Obviously it wouldn't be the holidays without rocking our shades amongst the rows of trees, because looking awesome in the green rooms is of utter importance to 5 year olds in our home. But truthfully we are loving the holiday state of mind and we started things off by heading to How the Grinch Stole Christmas at The Children's Theatre Company. We loved it! The Children's Theatre does the most amazing job of keeping energy levels high so that the kids stay engaged. I think we might do a family annual pass for part of our kids' Christmas gift because we loved the whole process of going to the Theatre as a family! It definitely is something I highly recommend if you are in the Minneapolis area - they totally tailor the show for the kids and I think it is really important to expose our kids to live Theatre. Whatever your plans for the holidays are stay cool and soak it all in.

**Special thanks to The Children's Theatre Company for having us out to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas, I will not forget the magic of Christmas that your play brought to life for our kiddos*
