grandpa sweater | welcome december
I cannot believe December is upon us. We are fully taking in the moments to cozy up under blankets and live in chunky or oversized knits. I am really trying to embrace the Scandinavian term "Hygge" -- In short it basically means to be cozy and togetherness (in one). It means slowing down and embracing the lingering moments. I absolutely love this concept and it really fits our family this time of year! It's a beautiful term that I feel like we can all embrace a bit more, especially around this time of year we often pack out schedule with way too much, and haul our kids to many events etc. I am really trying to slow the pace of our life down, I realized I don't always take moments to really appreciate the stage we are in with our kids, and soon they will be in sports and events that take commitment and time. I also distract myself at home way too much when I should really focus on my children when they need me. So here is to a December of moments. A month of family and meaning. So much more than just the holidays, and I hope you find the same with your family. Wishing you all health and happiness this warm Christmas season. xx
Also, our friend's over at Mindy Mae's Market are having their annual sale! I love the grandpa sweater I snatched up here a few weeks ago - I love that the sleeves are long enough to cover my hands. I know you will find lots of great gifts to give on their site!
